What is Hydro Excavation?
Hydro Excavation is a process of removing soil using high pressure water and vacuum. Our high pressure digging wands turn the soil into a slurry for the vacuum to remove it from the excavated area and into the tank of the truck.
Hydro Excavation Applications: This process is beneficial for locating underground utilities such as gas lines, electric lines, sewer lines and fiber optics. Hydro Excavation is also beneficial for excavating holes for new guide rails, fence posts, telephone poles, infrastructure repair and other applications where sensitive utilities may be buried underground.

With a growing fleet of four state of the art GapVax Inc. Hi-Vac units, we are able to efficiently dig with accuracy using high pressure water and vacuum.
These powerful Hi-Vac trucks are equipped with a 5,300-CFM, 27”-Hg vacuum blower with wet / dry filtration and six cyclones. For ease and efficiency of hydro-excavation it carries an 8”-hydraulic telescopic style boom and a 9-19 GPM @2,900-PSI high-pressure water pump with a 400,000-BTU Hotsy water heater system that has a 1,000-gallon fresh water capacity.
